The clubs area should be devided into wargaming and roleplaying as it would allow people to search faster.
A map of the location of these clubs would also be helpful.

I disagree, most wargames clubs cater for boardgames and roleplaying.
In fact, many wargames are just roleplaying with miniatures and many roleplaying games could be seen as characterised wargaming...

Probably would be a good idea. Generally I've found the two dont mix well for people that just like roleplaying or wargaming. They generally just seek out a roleplaying or wargamers based club not a wargamers club with a bit of a roleplaying garnish or vice versa. In my case I've tried roleplaying in a wargamers based club/room and found it dosen't really work due to the space and general background noise that 'breaks' many roleplaying moments IMHO.

Hmm, yeah, I can see that. My old club used to have two rooms, a little one for roleplayers and a big one for miniature wargamers.

Re: Maps for individual clubs - the majority of clubs provide a google maps link in their information or their post code so people can search on google maps.
When I return from my trip I'll go through the boards again and try to get map links posted on all of them
Re: Further dividing the forum into Wargaming and roleplaying; while I can see the principle behind it, dividing the forum like this causes issues for clubs that do both - such as the Bedworth club - which would it go into? In addition, once you divide into wargaming and roleplaying, by nature we'd also have to divide into CCG's, board games, historical...
I'm more than happy to add further sub forums to particular clubs, but I think making huge divisions on the front page will be a can of worms that could rapidly wriggle out of control...

Probably no need to divide them... Once a few posts are up and people see generally whats going it wont be a problem... besides such division amongst geek-ly pleasures must only exist in the mind

War gam clubs and roleplay clubs do not normally mix very well as has been highlighted previously.
Sub division would not be needed just Highlight which clubs play what type of games like a large symbol next to each club name for each type of game, so people can see.

Superdivision of the clubs into different categories (which if I read it correctly is what is being suggested) would probably be unneccesary. Ffrom my POV, our club has active wargamers, roleplayers, board gamers and ccg players. We don't fit into any one category other than "Games Club".
However, at our forums we do subdivide our club discussion area to keep the different genres separate.

Sub forums can be created upon request within club sections
